About the Role

Perform preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic dental procedures Conduct oral examinations, interpret x-rays, and develop treatment plans Administer local anesthesia and sedation as appropriate for procedures Provide restorative and routine surgical/extraction dental care appropriate to the capabilities of the clinic Manage dental emergencies and determine when a patient requires a higher level of care Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and post-procedure care Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Dentrix dental practice management software Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health personnel to coordinate patient care Provide clinical oversight and direction to the on-site dental support team Maintain dental equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for all procedures

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.

Qualifications

• •Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
• •Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school Minimum 10 years of professional clinical practice as a licensed dentist Current, active, unrestricted dental license in at least one U.S. state, DC, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or a Red Cross-approved program Normal competency with general dental equipment and dental radiography Ability to operate independently in a deployed, austere, or resource-limited environment Ability to meet all medical, security, credentialing, and deployment requirements Willingness to travel to Greenville, SC for training prior to mobilization to the program

Nice to Have

• •Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Prior experience with Dentrix dental practice management software
