Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC machine tools and related equipment. Interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic systems, and machine documentation. Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and motion control systems. Perform machine leveling, alignment, and geometric accuracy verification. Troubleshoot and repair spindle assemblies, gearboxes, axis drive systems, and other mechanical components. Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on open-loop and closed-loop CNC control systems. Perform CNC geometry corrections, positioning compensation, and machine calibration. Configure and troubleshoot 5-axis machine functions, including Traori applications. Troubleshoot automatic tool changers, tool management systems, and machine automation components. Utilize laser measurement equipment to verify positioning accuracy, straightness, and machine geometry. Perform machine commissioning, customer acceptance testing, and equipment validation. Deliver customer training on machine operation, maintenance, and best practices. Train and mentor junior technicians and service personnel. Document service activities and provide detailed technical reports. Communicate equipment performance concerns, improvement opportunities, and customer feedback to management. Support machine service, rebuild, troubleshooting, and technical projects at the Rockford facility when not deployed to customer sites. Travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations, service calls, and field assignments.
