Liquid Fuels Mechanic II

About the Role

Perform recurring maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance activities at fuel system facilities. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Class I, II, and III hydrant fuel systems. Conduct inspections and maintenance of fuel storage tanks. Support repair and modification projects for fuel facilities. Diagnose equipment and system deficiencies. Assist with development of repair scopes of work. Review equipment and material specifications. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Coordinate with site leadership and subcontractors. Investigate and resolve customer concerns. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Support onsite quality control initiatives. Operate hand tools and maintenance equipment.

Qualifications

• •OSHA 30 (preferred) HAZWOPER training (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
• •2-5 years of experience in liquid fuels maintenance Experience with bulk fuel storage facilities Experience with hydrant fueling systems Valid driver's license with a minimum of 12 months validity Valid passport with a minimum of 12 months validity and at least six blank visa pages

Nice to Have

• •OSHA 30 certification HAZWOPER training CPR and First Aid certification Experience operating construction or maintenance equipment Previous experience supporting federal or military operations
