Maintenance Manager - Deputy SM

About the Role

Assist the Site Manager in overseeing facility operations and maintenance activities Provide direct, hands-on operational support across industrial and research facility maintenance activities Support execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Participate in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving across electrical, HVAC, fire protection, and BAS systems Support maintenance management and reliability programs involving industrial equipment and research facilities Assist in workforce scheduling, task prioritization, and daily operations coordination Utilize CMMS systems for maintenance tracking, work order management, and performance reporting Support development and monitoring of CMMS KPIs and performance metrics Ensure compliance with federal, safety, and operational standards Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• •Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) certification Vibration Institute Level I or II (preferred) Building Automation System (BAS) certification (preferred)
• •8+ years of experience in maintenance management Hands-on technical experience across multiple maintenance disciplines 3+ years of experience with CMMS systems Training in substation maintenance (electrical) Vibration Institute Level I or II certification Fire protection systems knowledge Building Automation System (BAS) certification Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or SMRP certification Experience with Microsoft Office and data charting
