Sean’s transition

Sean served more than 30 years in the Navy and made Chief Warrant Officer 4. Most of that time he ran administration and operations for senior leaders. He managed staffs, budgets, and plans that reached across multiple countries.

When he took off the uniform, he kept serving. He spent years more as a federal civilian, doing the same kind of work.

Then he went back on the job market, and it was slow.

Sean used Best Military Resume to build federal resumes for administrative officer, protocol, and operations roles, each one aimed at a different posting. He kept applying.

It took a full year. Then the yes came.

"It took a year...but I finally did get hired," he wrote.

A long search is not a closed door. Sean is proof that the experience still counts, even when the market makes you wait for it.
