Anonymous's Story

He is an Army Major who spent his career in supply chain and procurement. Moving things, sourcing things, and making sure the right materiel showed up where it was supposed to be.

He built nine resumes on BMR while he worked out where that translated to on the outside.

It did not translate to defense.

Every officer coming out of a logistics career gets pointed the same direction. Go work for a prime. Go be an analyst on a defense contract. He ended up running site operations for a producer well outside that world, moving finished product out to market.

Different cargo. Same problem. Get the volume out the door, on schedule, at the right cost.

That is the part worth taking away. Supply chain is supply chain, and the industries that need it most are often the ones nobody thinks to apply to.

He did not send a long story. He sent a one line answer confirming he got hired, and then the title. Sometimes that is the whole update, and it still counts.
