Cody’s story

Cody’s transition

Cody served as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the Navy, spending years in operations and logistics. When his transition came, he did something a lot of veterans do not expect. He made a complete career change. From business operations to education.

He used Best Military Resume to build the resume that would get him there. The platform helped him reframe his Navy experience for an entirely different audience. Not defense contractors. Not government agencies. Schools.

It worked. Cody landed exactly what he wanted. He was hired at a high school to write the curriculum for a brand-new course and teach it. At the same time, he got onboarded at a local junior college to teach the same subject at a deeper level.

Two teaching positions. Both doing exactly what he set out to do.

Cody's story stands out because he did not just transition out of the military. He transitioned into a completely different career. That takes a different kind of resume. One that shows transferable skills, not just military experience. Best Military Resume helped him make that connection.
