Eric's Story

Eric spent over 20 years in the Coast Guard keeping helicopters in the air. He is an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant technician who rose to Chief Petty Officer, leading aviation maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics for crews flying federal law enforcement and search-and-rescue missions.

Then it was time to transition out. He hit the wall a lot of senior aviation maintainers hit. Two decades of inspections, troubleshooting, and leading maintenance teams does not automatically read as a civilian career to a hiring manager.

Eric used Best Military Resume to fix that. He built tailored resumes for the roles he was chasing and got help sharpening his LinkedIn profile so recruiters could find him. More than the resume itself, he said BMR gave him confidence in a part of the transition that intimidates a lot of veterans.

It worked. Eric got the job. He is starting soon as an analyst.
