Gen’s transition

Gen served as a First Lieutenant (O-2) in the Army, working in communications.

Then she stepped away from the workforce to raise her family. Seven years as a stay-at-home mom.

Then she decided to come back.

That part of the transition is the one nobody talks about. Veterans who take time off to raise kids, run a household, or care for family carry the same operational experience they built in uniform. The problem is convincing hiring managers to see it.
