Jason's Story

Jason spent more than two decades in the Navy. He came up in the cryptologic and intelligence field and finished as a Chief Petty Officer, one of the senior enlisted leaders who carry that work.

Leaving a career that long for something new is daunting. Jason will tell you that himself. He gives a lot of the credit for his transition to his family, friends, and colleagues.

He also gives credit to Best Military Resume. When it came time to go after his target industry, he used BMR to quickly draft tailored resumes for the roles he wanted, built to speak to the civilian side rather than the Navy one.

It worked. Jason landed a role as a Systems Engineer with a defense contractor.

More than twenty years in, a brand new field, and he made the jump.
