Jennifer’s story
Technical Sergeant (E-6), Air Force, to Environmental Health & Safety.

Real email, in their words.
I have continued searching for my dream role. I am happy to share, I found it!
Jennifer’s transition
Jennifer spent more than 20 years in the Air Force building a career in occupational safety and environmental health. She started as a safety technician and worked her way up to senior EHS manager, the person responsible for keeping people safe across aircraft maintenance, industrial, and medical environments.
When she retired in 2025, she did what a lot of veterans do. She took the first solid offer. By November she had landed a site safety and health officer role with a construction company. A good job. A real paycheck. But not the role she actually wanted.
So she kept going.
She used Best Military Resume to translate two decades of military safety work into language civilian hiring managers understood, tailoring her resume for each role she applied to. Then the email came. She found her dream role and is starting a new position in the field she has spent her whole career mastering.
In her words. I have continued searching for my dream role. I am happy to share, I found it.
That is the part worth remembering. A paycheck is one thing. The right job is worth holding out for. Jennifer did not settle, and it paid off.
Jennifer built a resume that got results. Same tools. Free to start. About 15 minutes.
