Jerod’s transition

Jerod spent six years in the Navy as a combat systems and electronics technician before separating in early 2024. On paper he did everything right. He earned his Security+ and his Google IT Support certificate.

Then he hit the wall almost every veteran knows. Over two years out, applications disappearing into silence. The only reply he got in all that time was a rejection from an internship.

The tools he tried were not built for him. None of them understood military ratings, evaluations, awards, or how to translate any of it into language a federal hiring manager actually reads.
