Michael's Story

Michael spent about two decades in the Navy, and the work changed a lot along the way. He came in running heavy equipment and construction crews. He finished as a Chief Petty Officer (E-7) leading law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security operations at installations around the world, with 80-plus people under him.

He knew what he was good at. Moving it into civilian language was the harder part.

He found Best Military Resume through Chaze at INvets, a partner organization that connects transitioning service members with employers. Michael built his base resume the day he opened his account in April. Then he went to work, one role at a time. Ten tailored resumes in all, and nine of them inside a single month, each one built for a specific job he was chasing.

Then he wrote in to say he got hired.
