Laser Tracker Operator

About the Role

Verify that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering drawings and CAD specifications utilizing Leica or Faro laser trackers. Create inspection programs and comprehensive inspection reports from 2D drawings and 3D CAD data using SpatialAnalyzer software. Provide real-time inspection data to subassembly personnel to assist with alignment, adjustments, and final accuracy requirements. Mark up raw or semi-finished manufactured parts for finish-machining operations as required by manufacturing routings. Identify deviations, process Non-conforming reports, and support root-cause investigations. Perform basic, routine maintenance and field checks on laser tracker equipment as specified by the manufacturer.

Qualifications

• •2+ years of experience operating Leica or Faro laser trackers Experience with SpatialAnalyzer inspection software High school diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work overtime as required

• •Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and crane (training provided) Strong basic math skills (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)
