Paint Shop Operator

About the Role

Support welding, machining, and assembly operations Set up large workpieces using overhead cranes, fixtures, and rigging in accordance with safety standards Load, verify, and finish process parts Operate large grit blasting machines Use spray paint guns to prime and finish coat machine components Deburr machined parts both mechanically and manually Clean parts for final shipment and assembly Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all company safety policies Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency

Qualifications

• Ability to drill, tap, and perform machining operations Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. daily Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work in a heavy industrial environment for extended periods Ability to safely work around large machinery and overhead cranes

Nice to Have

• 3-5 years of industrial shop experience on large or heavy equipment Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, routings, and GD&T
