Joshua's Story

Joshua served four years in the Marine Corps as a communications operator. He got out in 2013 as a Lance Corporal.

He did not walk straight into an IT career. He built one from the ground up. Help desk. Systems support. Telecommunications. One civilian role at a time, he worked his way up the technical ladder over the years that followed.

By the time he was ready for his next move, the experience was real and it was deep. Networks, systems administration, technical support, the works. What he did not have was a resume that told that story to a hiring manager who had never worn the uniform.
